I noticed I had never posted these striped invitations. They were used several times now, in brown and blue, and I made them in other colors, too. I think they are fun!
I am still working up designs for C and R’s little one… scheduled to arrive in June! But here is what we are working with so far…
FINALLY! After many struggles, attempts and frustrations, I finally found a great way to customize my blog for wordpress! LOVE it!
I am sure I will play with my actual layout, it might be a bit too busy… but I am just thrilled I finally figured it out! google never fails! I found a program called Artisteer that walked me through it! I made all my backgrounds and used my existing logo in publisher and photoshop, and then I was able to use this program to make them into a template! It is all customizable! I am sure I will make little changes here and there and I can DO it now with out making myself freak out!
I still need to go back and edit new posts, as I went with a new format and all my pictures are too big, but that will definitely need to be done o a new day!
I can do new templates for my blogger too!
I am have a ton of new stuff I need to add here… I have been adding to etsy often, but not here as much, with my frustration with wordpress… but now that I get it, I am motivated to add all my new things here, too!
Plus, i am working on a business card design for a new custom baker, a birth announcement and a birthday invitation! Lots of fun stuff to see!!
Sometimes I hate gender stereotyping, but boys really do tend to be fascinated with trucks, particularly big construction truck!

I admit it, I almost always have favorites… and this case is no different… I love number 3!
This is the bedding she choose for her little one….

Cute, right? It’s from the land of Nod… you can get it here
So with that as inspiration… I did these:

and then this one:

and since this is the one, I added in a thank you card!

I always love pink and green… Yeah, I was preppy back in the ’80’s, wearing my layered polos with popped collars, I admit it!

I am thrilled to show 3 pregnancy announcements for a very special person. She has been through a lot, and she knows that she is always in my prayers. Let’s just say that I am so incredibly happy for her to announce she is having a little one in June!

and this is the one she choose! congratulations!

ok, not yet… but soon…. I will have some new contact me info, as well as a whole new blog layout… in the works! : )

Hi Everyone! Its time for Philly area ladies to get together and do some good deeds again!
Last year I planned a GTG around the Preston and Steve Campout For Hunger food drive.
It was a small turn out but imo successful for a first try. I’m doing the same thing again this year and hoping to make it even better. I am going beyond this board and asking several other Bump boards to join in.
There is a poll on my blog to help us choose a date that is best for all of us. This is a GTG that welcomes children. If you are not interested in hanging out with kids, I would like to encourage you to organize your own event or you can donate online.
After we drop off our donations we’ll have lunch at Ruby Tuesday’s, which is across from the Metroplex Shopping Center (the location of the food drive). If you can only make it to one or the other, we’d love to see you either way. I would only ask that, at the very least, you bring something small to donate.
You can find a list of
recommended donation items on my blog. Also, I would like to ask if anyone would be
willing to volunteer to be a drop-off point in your area for those that would like to give but cant make it to the event. Maybe you can simply leave a box on your porch or meet them in a mutually agreeable public place. (please see FAQ on blog).Well, thanks for reading. I hope to see many of you at the event. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me at mommabrown08@gmail.com or via
facebook.I LOVE this time of year, I really do… the clean crisp air, the crunch of leaves, turtlenecks and sweaters… Most of all I love knowing the at the end of autumn, we get the best holidays of the year!
We are an interfaith family, so we start our season with a kosher thanksgiving. We move right into Hanukkah, on December 11, then Christmas. Last year, I had a really hard time finding interfaith holiday cards. I wanted to be able to put a picture of our son on our cards, but no one was making them! Last years solution was to do about 8 different designs. This year, I opted to make some interfaith options that I haven’t seen out there.

this one can have a pic in the star, if desired!

Still have a few more interfaith ideas floating in my head! : )
here are some christmas and 1 for hanukkah (which isnt really a big card holiday, but this one is sweet!)

I have some more… but they aren’t ready yet! Soon!
